The story of Potiche
Founded by Johanna Grols, Potiche was born from a passion for ceramics and the desire to create a space where everyone can explore their creativity through the art of clay.
Located in the residential neighbourhood of Uccle, Brussels, our workshop is a warm and inspiring space, equipped with pottery wheels, modelling areas and professional kilns.
Whether you're a curious beginner or an experienced ceramist, Potiche welcomes you for courses, workshops and open studio sessions in a friendly atmosphere.
The founder
Johanna Grols
A passionate ceramist, Johanna founded Potiche with the conviction that ceramics is an art accessible to all. Her teaching approach combines technique and creativity in a supportive environment that encourages experimentation.
Trained in traditional wheel throwing and hand-building techniques, she shares her expertise with enthusiasm and patience, guiding each student on their creative journey.
Her philosophy: clay is an extraordinary medium for self-expression, relaxation and reconnecting with what truly matters. Every piece tells a story.
